Different Personalities is a deeply personal project which was created out of a need for a real freedom of expression. Antonisia said: "This series was created at a time when I personally was going through some very difficult issues and needed an outlet to show some of the feelings I was feeling inside."



The use of black and white alongside colour is there to show that very often the way we feel and the mixture of emotions is sometimes told in shades of grey rather than in clear and vivid colour. Sometimes, we have no way of expressing our feelings clearly and art can sometimes be the only way out; the only way in which we can show to the world what we are going through and the pain we feel.



Antonisia added: "I actually want the viewers of this series to feel disturbed; to feel that they are peering into a part of me that I usually keep hidden. Real freedom of expression is so powerful; as it has been said before, pictures say more than a thousand spoken words ever could."
