These pictures were part of Antonisia's work using colour and paintography techniques, which she used to communicate the feelings she has for her children.



All the images that can be seen here are of her two children – who inspire much of her artwork. This series, clearly, has been directly inspired by them, using them as models.



A mother’s love is something that can never be understood by anyone other than a mother; no matter what your children do, say or how they act, they are for ever your children and there is nothing that could make a single small difference to the way you feel about them.



While life can throw up strange events and situations, the love of a mother remains constant and will remain until the day she dies. It is important that children are aware of that and Antonisia said: "I always try to tell my children how important they are to me and how much I love them – don’t leave for tomorrow what you can tell them today.



"In terms of the framing, I wanted the children to be at the centre of each of these images, so that it was all about them. The colour saturation of these images was to remove them slightly from reality and to make them works of art in their own right, which is exactly how I see my children; works of art given to me by God."
